Around this time of year, I often get asked whether or not now is a good time to sell a home. The short answer is yes, the holiday season is a great time to sell your home. We still have historically low interest rates that give buyers more buying power, and inventory is at an all-time low. There’s lots of activity, and we’re still seeing multiple offers.
I just put a house under contract that closes on Christmas Eve. Serious buyers have little to choose from, and they need to make a move. At the end of the day, now is the perfect storm for buyers and sellers.
